In order to appeal to the younger generation, Poh Cheu Kitchen introduced modern flavours to the traditional concept. In 2019, Poh Cheu Kitchen is humbled to be the first Ang Ku Kueh shop in Singapore to be awarded The Michelin Plate . Our Story Initially operating as an illegal mobile hawker, Poh Cheu Kitchen began their journey from Boon Lay, and gradually expanded to other areas like Jalan Kayu, Bedok, and eventually settled down in Bukit Merah where they operate today since 1991. Today, Poh Cheu Kitchen have a total of 13 flavours of Ang Ku Kueh; Peanut, Green Bean, Salted Bean, Yam, Durian, Coconut, Red Bean, Black Sesame, Green Tea, Mango, Pineapple, Coffee and the latest flavour - Corn.
