Our Story Initially operating as an illegal mobile hawker, Poh Cheu Kitchen began their journey from Boon Lay, and gradually expanded to other areas like Jalan Kayu, Bedok, and eventually settled down in Bukit Merah where they operate today since 1991. Today, Poh Cheu Kitchen have a total of 13 flavours of Ang Ku Kueh; Peanut, Green Bean, Salted Bean, Yam, Durian, Coconut, Red Bean, Black Sesame, Green Tea, Mango, Pineapple, Coffee and the latest flavour - Corn. Poh Cheu Kitchen (宝洲) was founded in 1985 by Neo Poh Cheu and Lim Kim Noi, a couple that aims to deliver traditional handmade kuehs. Poh Cheu Kitchen first started out with merely 6 flavours of Ang Ku Kueh; Peanut, Green Bean, Salted Bean, Yam, Durian and Coconut.
