Poh Cheu Kitchen (宝洲) was founded in 1985 by Neo Poh Cheu and Lim Kim Noi, a couple that aims to deliver traditional handmade kuehs.

Poh Cheu Kitchen first started out with merely 6 flavours of Ang Ku Kueh; Peanut, Green Bean, Salted Bean, Yam, Durian and Coconut. In order to appeal to the younger generation, Poh Cheu Kitchen introduced modern flavours to the traditional concept.

In 2019, Poh Cheu Kitchen became the first Ang Ku Kueh shop in Singapore to be awarded The Michelin Plate — and we've proudly held our place in the Michelin Guide every year since, most recently in 2025 and 2026.
